Corundum Castable Introduction:
Corundum castable is high grade unshaped refractory, which is made from tabular corundum, fused white corundum, brown corundum raw materials, binder and additives. Corundum has excellent high temperature performance, if pure calcium aluminate cement is used as binder of corundum castable, its refractoriness, mechanical strength and corrosion resistance will all be decreased. So low cement corundum castable, ultra low cement corundum castable and no cement corundum castable are developed. They not only have good workability, but have better physiochemical performances and using effect than ordinary corundum castable
Corundum Castable Application:
Corundum castable has excellent high temperature performance, it can replace ordinary castable and some burned refractory products. The main applications of corundum castable are metallurgy, petrochemical industry, building materials industry, machinery industry and so on. The service life of corundum castable is significantly longer than high alumina castable and mullite castable.
